DAVID SANDQVIST

David Sandqvist is a 28-year-old theater director, playwright and actor. Sandqvist graduated from the Theater Academy's Directing program in spring 2022. As a director, Sandqvist has worked at, among others, Svenska Teatern, Theatre house Universum, Espoo City Theater, Turku City Theater and Keski-Uudenmaan Theater.

 

Sandqvist describes himself as an existentialist and is interested in staging the human experience. Absurd comedy and magical realism are his characteristic genres.
